School tours will be conducted for incoming 2013-2014 students new to River Place Elementary on the following dates:
Friday, May 24 - 8:00 a.m.
Please call our Campus Receptionist at 570-6900 to reserve one of the above dates/times to tour RPE.

Examination for Acceleration allows students, who without direct instruction, have already mastered all content and skills in a particular grade level or course, to advance to the next level or course.  These exams are available at no cost to eligible students who test during the district's testion periods. Click here for more information.

Parents of LISD students in grades 2-12 can use txConnect to access their child(ren)'s grades, while all LISD parents (kindergarten-grade 12) can use txConnect to check child(ren)'s attendance.  E-Report Card and Interim Progress Reports are now offered through the txConnect site.  For more information regarding txConnect and Electronic Grades click here.

Three years ago volunteer parents launched the Hill Country Education Foundation to raise private funds for Vandegrift High School, the two middle and five elementary schools that feed into it. Click here for more information about HCEF and their membership drive.
